- COVID-19 MOU - Returning to School
- Safety is our #1 priority
- We need something in place for Phase 2 & Phase 3

- Credentialed staff conducting all instruction virtually can continue to do so
- Child care - school aged children of employees working from school can go to work with their parents as long as there is appropriate space to allow for social distancing.
- We need clarification around what is age appropriate
- Language is confusing around “except students normally enrolled in the school and present only during their regular AM/PM group, etc.”
- Needs to be formatted with bullet points not in paragraph form

- If 25% of our teaching population doesn’t want to come back, is there a creative way to group teachers' classes/cohorts according to how the students want to be taught.
- School sites need to have flexibility to contact parents when their child may be the only student returning to in person learning and being able to move amongst am/pm cohort

- Possibility that Phase 2 will only go through December and when we return to school after winter break we would move into Phase 3
- Training pieces and professional development
- We have asked for additional preparation time for teachers to prepare for going back on 10/26/20, what days would be best to collapse? Will classrooms be checked by someone to ensure desks are 6 ft apart and if so there needs to be ample time for teachers to get their rooms ready and time to fix anything that isn’t “up to par”
- Report cards - Elementary teachers are having to do switch arounds with students who are moving to teachers who are more in person vs. more virtual. Report card deadline moved up and elementary teachers don’t feel there is enough data to provide appropriate feedback.
- Conferences - Elementary teachers hasn’t decided on when they will take place, but possibly postponed to the second trimester or removed
