- Still trying to get Prop 15 passed
- Agriculture property is exempt only affects businesses like Chevron if you purchased a home recently you are paying more taxes than Chevron
- There are a lot of “no” advertisements being aired
- This Proposition is important to help fund education

- Committee met on 10/18/20, members were asked to review the budget, jot down questions and it will be voted on at our next meeting
- Changes for 2020-21:
- dues increase, activities and programs remain in budget even though they aren’t happening live at the present time, funds are held for an IFT grant (Paige Pleasant) and chapter reimburses when receipts are presented, added electronic voting, Office supplies increased to purchase new desktop computer for NVEA office

- Why were we at a negative with the formula?
- Formula is based on a 2 year plan
- 19-20 school year budgeted amount and more was spent on our unit
- The negative from 19-20 school year and what was budgeted for 20-21 both ran into a negative.
- Whatever the formula runs is applied to our compensation
- Goal is positive intent and do no harm
- We are a me to unit what happens to certificated happens to all
- If you stop step and column it’s a nightmare when it started back up
