- Approve Agenda - approved with additions of Digital Schools portal and questions on PERS
- Approve Minutes of November meeting - minutes were approved by Mary Duenow and 2nd by Erin Reilly

- we have $84,000 in savings, we are about $3000 under from what we have brought in and what we have spent.
- We have a large number of teachers attending Good Teaching Conference

- We had a requests from all of the high schools for a scholarship and Valley Oak was mentioned since there may not be a dependant of an NVEA member, however we will look at the applicants to see if anyone is going into education.

- we currently have enough people to go ahead with the PARS.
- The district needed 45 and we have 50. CSEA got approved as well and they are participating also

- Gayle and others went to the Govenor’s presentation and we arent’ getting quite as much as we thought
- with declining enrollment and even with the PARS we might still be looking at layoffs.
- Looks like district TOSA’s will be going back into the classroom, not site TOSA’s (academic specialists at sites stay)

- personal necessity leave 7 don’t ask don’t tell days. pool doesn’t change from year to year
- you will be capped at how many you can use
- employees who have over 100 days of sick leave have the opportunity to take up to 7 DPNL days
- district doesn’t like this because it costs the district money where if they carry it over and wait until retirement it then becomes a STRS cost not district cost.
