- District sent out an email regarding high absence days and the people who are abusing the system. There was a concern around the wording and tone of the letter.

- 10.8 - personal necessity lists reasons and is part of your sick leave
- No longer have discretionary personal necessity leave (CBA Article10.8.2)
- Principal has a right to ask for a note regarding the absence (this is coming from HR)
- If you are being told that you cannot be out due to sub shortage when a child is sick that is part of personal necessity and you should not be made to come in. If this occurs, call Gayle immediately.
- Substitute Pay Deduct Leave - if needing to take personal necessity leave for family wedding need approval form Principal and Asst. Director of HR if sub deduct is denied then take leave without pay.

- A motion was made by Debbie Kmiec and seconded by Manny Johnson to align the bylaws with CTA, the motion passed with a majority vote.
