In attendance: President - Gayle Young, Vice President - Mary Duenow, Secretary - Debbie Kmiec, Treasurer - Karen Fleming, Directors-At-Large: High School - Deb St. Clair, Middle - Sara Kvidahl-Schmitz, Elementary - Kristin Pruitt, Communication - Mike Wilmarth, Human Rights/Chief Negotiator - Courtney Garcia, Grievance - Jen Can

- Political Action
- We have 4 school board seats up for election this year which is the majority of the board
- There are also county seats that are up for election
- Things are much more contentious than they have been in the past. Kids aren’t necessarily the priority perse
- There are standing rules and we currently don’t have any within our chapter at the present time. We need to vet and make recommendations.
- The district will be pulling things back such as CTE and bringing it back to the district and doing things internally
- We are spending millions of dollars to NCOE to have them run programs for us
- 88% of the students in the county are in NVUSD
- Reaching out to CTA’s political person to help us present a political stance for the district.

- 2 candidates for Vice President and Secretary. Evan Vercellini will probably run for Human Rights
- 2nd election in a month meeting on 3/28/22 will be canceled
- Ballots are due 4/7/22 instead of having a meeting it will be a ballot drop off. Election results will be announced on 4/8/22.
- Election committee will be Corey Morton, Jen Can, Courtney Garcia

- There will be a big training in 2022-2023
- There was an hour training during new teacher orientation
- Would be beneficial for us to do an IBPS training for our members in May holding a short session. Very important that our membership, exec board, etc. know what IBPS is.
