- First Vice President/Chief Negotiator—Gayle Young:
- Negotiations: Stipends, Salary Schedule, Workload, Budget/One Time Monies – Council update was emailed out but it only contained information about Workload. Last Council meeting focused on generating interests and options around Workload for both elementary and secondary. One time money agreement should be decided on this week; it will include a percentage going to employees, which is a direct result of NVEA negotiating for it.
- Directors-At-Large:
- Elementary—Laura Zinser: Nothing to report at this time.
- Middle—John Burns, Benefits: No report.
- Director of Human Rights—Mary Duenow: No report.
- State Council—Patty Wyman: Linda and Patty go to next State Council April 8-10.
- Director of Communications—Mike Willmarth: Workload committee still welcomes input regarding workload; email Mike, Linda, or Gayle. Regarding communication, continue to encourage members to like our NVEA Facebook page. If you have anything positive going on at your school site, email Mike a photo and brief explanation so he can post it on FB.
