    • District is prioritizing first with teachers who are with students in classrooms
    • There is enough for the first round for teachers who are teaching in person with secondary (high school and middle school) in person teachers being vaccinated first and then, Bus drivers, office staff, custodians, food service workers and then elementary teachers.
    • SPED teachers who have been teaching in Phase 3 will be vaccinated in the first round as well.
    • Gina’s surveyed is for NVUSD employees only
    • Napa County Public Health survey is for Napa County residents only
    • There are at least 3 different ways that we should be signing up through:  employer, county, and doctor
    • Three days probably will receive another shipment of vaccines next week
    • 11am to 3pm at the Napa Valley College in the gym.  You will be called and given an appointment time
    • No parking permit needed
    • If teaching during this time just put something in google classroom stating you can’t meet will see you soon.
    • No conversation yet about mandating vaccines for teachers in order to be employed by NVUSD.  District will mandate returning to work before mandating vaccines.
    • The district will be getting the Mederma vaccine
    • Vaccines will be Thursday, 1/21/21, Friday, 1/22/21, and Monday, 1/25/21
    • Vaccine diminishes symptoms, won't prevent you from getting COVID just won't get it as bad.
    • County should be the one informing NVUSD employees with a one pager what this means and doesn’t mean for employees
    • If an employee gets COVID there is no more COVID leave, however if you are still able to teach via zoom you will not get docked any leave
    • if you got COVID from your campus it is a worker’s compensation claim.
