- GTC -vote
- 38 people on the list wanting to go to the GTC.
- $68k in our savings account, raised dues, believe we have the funds to reimburse everyone who is interested in attending
- Melinda Miller made a motion that we raise the number to 40 members being reimbursed to attend GTC. Reimbursement will take place Sunday morning at the GTC. Kinnerith Winegarner seconded the motion and all present were in favor of the motion as stated above.
- Charter Petition
- Real important to get the community informed
- Hoping to save the programs that we currently have to offer our students
- If the charter passes, we not only lose students, resulting in lost programs (music, art, etc.) and causes a financial strain on districts
- This is an independent charter and are not members of NVEA or any union, and their rights will be limited to whatever the charter warrants.
- Fossil Fuel - Mike
- Concern about STRS investment policy around fossil fuel
- Retaining a participation in fossil fuel investment actually cost STRS money
- Looking to make a statement as an association whether or not to divest fossil fuel policy
- Article in CALSTRS Connections: From the Pension Sense blog: Protecting your pensions: Why CALSTRS votes matter

- Voting Timeline

- Elementary Prep
- Will have same start and end time
