- Welcome
- Review of Agenda
- Scope of Representation - No longer director of elementary and secondary ed, instruction is now covered by MaryAnn Valles, Dave Damico covers technology, Sarah Williams handles assessments, Mike Mansuy over sees nurses, etc. Paul D is staying on. Gayle has asked for an organizational chart. The Executive Cabinet is made up of Rosanna Mucetti, Mike Pearson, MaryAnn Valles, Dana Page, and Rob Mangahla. Closing the schools will not affect the amount of teachers. Most academic specialists have gone back into the classroom and others have stepped into roles. It is looking like with approximately 20 teachers retiring a year we won’t have reduction of force.
- History Article from Napa Register - here
- Bylaws - Reviewed by Gayle Bilek who works for CTA. Question was asked about counselors having their own representation even though there are counselors who are site reps at actual sites. It was mentioned that any member is invited to attend any site rep council meeting and provide their input so they feel their voice is being heard, but cannot vote. A discussion was had around the number of reps needed per site the guideline has been 15 to 1. Is there a need for more reps are sites? Does each site need to have at least 2 reps? Accountability needs to be addressed.
- Job Descriptions
- Should they be updated?
- Calendars
- Survey Results (Looking Back) - we were asked to read results from the survey sent out in May, find the person who has the same section and converse. Common reads include health care costs, tech rollout, PBIS, Curriculum Resources, allocation of $/programs, discipline/PBIS, support for SPED/ED/504 when integrated, and workload, better communication, more site visits, love the socials, list the reps at each site and their role in the district (ie: who is a sped teacher, counselor, etc.),
